New year art news & updates
I’m still getting the hang of posting news about my art on here. So far i feel like my substack updates have been mainly existential ponderings and post travel digestings. I’m going to try to get into a better rhythm of weaving in art updates and activities… along with thoughts, in hopes that i’ll find a nice balance of both.
I have a collaborative project i’m working on that i will be sharing about soon. More recently there have been several more public projects that i’ve been sharing about relating to new art prints in my shop and some textiles pieces i’ve been chipping away at, namely tote bags, and one other secret experiment that i hope to share soon!
Listing below new prints you can now find in the shop!
This print is the first of a new series i’m working on, the theme being ‘bodies in motion’. I’ve been feeling very inspired by images of people captured in motion, in strange contorted positioning, maybe dancing, maybe not, just moving. I’m excited to make and share more like this with you all.
This first one appropriately named Slow-Mo Fall
This next one i’m just about to post in the shop, so you’re all technically the first to see it! This is a new version of the original sketch i previously shared called Sign of a Cowgirl. I’m playing around with adding my travel photos to my art and i really love the way this lichen image (featuring my very own shadow), taken in a canyon in Arizona this past year looks with it.

Lastly, in case you missed it is Red Desert, this one was posted a few weeks ago, but it still deserves a little highlight. Looking at this print drives away all the sun deprived winter Seattle blues straight away.
Stay tuned for one more print update later this week, and looking forward to share more of my process with you all soon.
HNY yall!
